Dr. Sonya Cook is dedicated to providing excellent dermatologic care and is well- regarded for her effective, natural-looking cosmetic results.  Her passion is creating innovative, customized treatment plans combining injectables, threads, lasers, and other devices to achieve optimal outcomes for her patients.

Dr. Cook completed an undergraduate degree in Life Sciences at Queen's University, where she was a member of the varsity rowing team.  She graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine and completed her dermatology training at the University of Toronto.  As a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) and a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology (DABD), Dr. Cook is board-certified in both Canada and the United States.

She is actively involved in the education of medical students and residents at the University of Toronto, where she holds a University appointment. Her memberships include the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the Canadian Dermatology Association, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the Toronto Dermatologic Society.

Dr. Cook has made mid-town Toronto her home and enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, travelling, and cottaging with her husband and three sons.
