What is InstaLift?
Silhouette InstaLift is an innovative thread lift treatment that gently lifts sagging skin to restore facial contours to a more youthful position. The lift is achieved by using absorbable sutures and micro-cones constructed from poly L-lactide-co-glycolide (PLGA) and poly-L lactic acid (PLLA), which are fully absorbable, biocompatible molecules.
The threads also stimulate natural collagen production to further enhance lift as well as add volume and improve skin firmness for up to 2 years.
InstaLift takes under an hour to complete, and you'll be able to see an improvement immediately, with further improvement for up to one year afterwards.
How Does InstaLift Work?
InstaLift is performed under local anesthetic and takes about one hour. Hollow tubes, or cannulas, are used to place the sutures in the skin. There is no incision and no scarring. One thread contains two sets of cones, one set at each end. The lower cones are set in the skin and then lifted prior to anchoring the upper cones in the skin.
Over time, the threads gradually and completely dissolve, releasing PLLA and PLGA which boosts natural collagen production to give you increased volume and firmer, healthier skin. So, while you'll be able to see a lift immediately, the quality of your skin will also progressively improve in the months following your treatment.
The initial results of an InstaLift treatment are seen immediately, but additional improvements can be seen over 6 months, with results lasting for up to 2 years.
